Total War Warhammer 3: Forge of Souls Total War Warhammer 3 guide, walkthrough

On this Total War Warhammer 3 guide page, you will learn all about the final battle in the Forge of Souls

Last update: 12 April 2022

This page of the guide to Total War Warhammer 3 explains how to survive the battle with Be'lakor.

In many ways, this battle resembles the rest of the fights against Daemon Princes. You can read more about them on a separate page - Battles for the daemon souls. Therefore, we will not cover it here again; we will only focus on the differences.

Your final task will start when you defeat the fourth daemon prince - Total War Warhammer 3: Forge of Souls - Realm of Chaos - Total War Warhammer 3 Guide

Your final task will start when you defeat the fourth daemon prince. Rifts will no longer disappear and you will get 40 turns to face Be'lakor in the Forge of Souls. This battle cannot be resolved automatically, so get ready for a long fight.

The Forge of Souls has no special mechanics. It is a small island and you can go straight to the final fight without any obstacles.

The first thing to remember is that Be'lakor has access to all kinds of daemons. Until now, you've only faced enemies that belonged to one faction at a time. Now you have to face all of them at once.

Another difference is that you won't have even a moment of peace - Total War Warhammer 3: Forge of Souls - Realm of Chaos - Total War Warhammer 3 Guide

Another difference is that you won't have even a moment of peace. Previously, you had a moment of rest between battles with other daemon princes. You can forget about it in the battle in Forge of Souls, though. A squad will always be summoned where you came from on the map. The further you go on the map, the more of them there will be.

This means that when moving, at least one of your units should always be ready to cover the walking soldiers, so that the enemy can't attack them from behind. Certainly, magic towers will come in handy here, as they will weaken enemies before they reach you.

When you reach the middle arena, you may be surprised to find that there are no enemies here - Total War Warhammer 3: Forge of Souls - Realm of Chaos - Total War Warhammer 3 Guide

When you reach the middle arena, you may be surprised to find that there are no enemies here. This will change after you seize the strategic point, though, as then enemies will attack you from all directions. Get ready for a long battle.

We've suggested previously (in the tips related to battles for souls of daemon princes) that you don't have to worry about your rear, because it will take a while before the enemy gets there. Here, you can forget about it. In Forge of Souls, enemies never stop attacking you, so make sure you leave a few squads at the entrance gate to the final arena. There is, of course, some risk that they won't return, but their only task is to delay the incoming enemy and give you time to deal with Be'lakor.

Be'lakor himself is a very tough opponent - Total War Warhammer 3: Forge of Souls - Realm of Chaos - Total War Warhammer 3 Guide

Be'lakor himself is a very tough opponent. You should focus on killing him. Attack him with the most durable units and keep shooting (if possible). Apart from that, you have to be prepared for a standard fight - the enemy will attack from all sides, and you have to lower the wave bar to 0. Luckily, you don't have to defeat all the enemies on the map!
