Important information regarding Keycards
The main use of Keycards is unlocking access to new areas - these may be mandatory (required for the main story to progress) or optional side rooms. When trying to open a locked door, the game may display a message in the upper left corner that a Keycard is required.
Some Keycards appear in a few instances but only one copy is required. Sometimes, they are different Keycards of the same category e.g. Group 1 and Group 3. In such cases, you should get one copy of each.
In the bottom right corner of the map, the abbreviations of names of carried Keycards will appear. Fortunately, Keycards don't take up inventory space.
