After reaching Systems Engineering in System Shock Remake you'll learn you need to sabotage four Citadel antennas. On this page you'll learn how to open the antenna rooms by visiting Cyberspace, how to acquire Z-44 Plastique (explosives), how to reach the antennas and blow them up.
Opening side areas holding antennas
Your main objective at Level 7 - Systems Engineering - requires you to sabotage four antennas. They're located in the Alpha Antenna, Beta Antenna, Gamma Antenna and Delta Antenna rooms. Unfortunately, the entrances to all four rooms are initially locked.
Start in the central Core room and head to Beta Quadrant through the eastern passage. You'll have to walk through a highly irradiated area, so make sure you've got the Environmental Protection Pack V2 active.
We've explained how to get to on several pages, including How to avoid radiation?.
On your way you'll pass by a room holding destructible Computer Nodes. It's right next to the Administrator room. That's where you'll find the Cyberspace Terminal you must use.
There are four blockades to destroy in Cyberspace, which you must shoot and blow up. Destroying each one displays a message about unlocking the antenna room. Do not leave cyberspace until you destroy all four blockades.
Acquiring Z-44 Plastique
This step can be done even before arriving at Systems Engineering. You need four Z-44 Plastique explosives - one for each antenna.
Return to Storage. You must visit Storage 1 in the north-west part of the map. You'll find a Surveillance Room there.
Blowing up four antennas
You can now visit the side areas in Systems Engineering, but be careful - you can encounter stronger robots and traps along the way (disarm traps by shooting them from a safe distance).
After reaching an antenna, interact with it to rig it with explosives.
Each time you do, immediately move away or hide behind cover, as the explosion will cause a shockwave.
After destroying the antennas you can start the self-destruct procedure. We've described it on a separate page: Reactor self-destruct procedure.
