Item Panel is accessed by pressing I or B.

Kinds of items

  • Weapon, armors, modification items - you can equip your character or companion with these and also modify your inventory. Their quality is marked by different border colors (from lowest to highest): light-blue, green, blue and orange. Except for orange, the rest corresponds to the colors of the beams of light that appear above the defeated enemies or searched chests.
  • Light blue is also used for credits and all items "only for sale".
  • Green is also used for stims and commendations. Commendation is a special currency received as mission reward or taken from the corpses of very powerful enemies. It lets you purchase really valuable items (blue color) on special items sale (Specialty Goods Vendors).
  • Credit boxes - need to be open to get cash.
  • There are also mission items you should always have on, and also sometimes use. If an enemy has a mission item, then a yellow beam of light that will appear above his dead body will let you know.

Inventory

  • Click RMB on any item to use it - equip your character with a weapon, put on an armor part, use a stim, open a credit box, etc.
  • If you place the cursor on an item, information about the stats changes that will occur when you put it on will appear at the bottom of its description panel. This way, it's easy to determine, for example, which pair of gloves is better. We suggest turning this option on for the companion's inventory as well (see the "Interface" chapter in this chapter).
  • Think about dragging some items (e.g. Medpacs) to the quick access bar to be able to use them instantly.

Trade

  • Your inventory is limited, that is why you will have to sell unnecessary items from time to time.
  • You can get rid of unnecessary items with your companion's help or just sell it yourself (the latter option is the only choice in the case of weaker armors, weapons etc.). Click RMB on an item to sell it.
  • The prices that vendors offer vary depending on what they specialize in. There are vendors who sell weapons and armors (all or only light, medium or heavy - Weapons, Armor, Light Armor, Medium Armor, Heavy Armor Vendors), special items (Speciality Goods Vendors), stims (Stims Vendors), medicine (Medical Droids), social items (Social Items Vendor) or jukebox coins (Cantina Vendors).
