While exploring the game world in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, you may have problems with going up steep slopes. Our guide suggests effective methods for dealing with slippery surfaces and reaching higher places.
Slippery and steep slopes
You can encounter slippery and steep slopes starting from the planet Koboh - they will make it difficult to get to some places on the map. Simply climbing it always fails - Cal will slide back down.
Start by checking the map and looking for an alternative path. If you don't have one in your area, follow the advice further down the page.
Solutions to failed climbing
While doing the main mission objectives on Koboh to fix the Mantis, you will unlock the option to tame Nekko mounts. From this point on, you can summon and ride mounts (R1/RB).
Nekko mount can easily climb slippery slopes, helping you reach the previously inaccessible locations.
In some places, where there are slippery or steep surfaces, you may also find small rock shelves and walls to run or climb. You must then plan your climbing route well.
A perfect example of such a location is the Ruins Landing Site, which you will reach shortly after landing on Jedha. We described this particular puzzle in more detail on the Climbing the Ruins Landing Site page.
