W.D. 109 is an optional Aberration type boss who appears in the world of N'Erud. You'll encounter him specifically in Void Vessel Facility or The Putrid Domain. W.D. 109 - boss description

W.D. 109 is a human-sized white robot that is equipped with a shield and a laser sword. He is supported by lesser versions of himself that interfere in combat. W.D. 109 is an Aberration, which means that it has random suffixes added to its name. These give additional skills to the boss, so every fight with this type of opponent can be slightly different.

Moveset

1. Activate shields - while going straight at the players, W.D. 109 will activate a shield that will protect him from damage.
2. Laser Sword - if the boss is close enough, he will start swinging his sword. He can do it twice in a row.
3. Shield push - if W.D. 109 has an active shield, he can push the player with it. This attack deals minor damage, but throws the targets off-balance.

How to fight W.D. 109?

Your approach should be the same as with the all other robots of this type. If you have any summons that can distract the boss, it would be good to use them. Thanks to distractions, you won't have to get through his shield, and attack the robot's back instead - this will lower his health bar substantially.

If the boss's shield starts to change color from blue to red, it means that is on a brink of destruction. Without his shield, the boss will be thrown off-balance for a moment. Avoid staying in melee range, as then the boss will attack with his laser sword.

If you notice that lesser robots are appearing from nearby pods, focus on destroying them. They will only interfere and annoy in the fight, and the longer it lasts, the more of them will appear.

It is also worth mentioning that there are several closed doors near the entrance to the arena. If you lead the boss to them, they should open. There are additional rewards behind them.

For defeating W.D. 109, you will receive the following rewards:

2. Excess Coil (if you managed to open the door),
3. Scrap x200.
