Mantagora is a boss encountered in Yaesha, in the Imperial Gardens. This page of our Remnant 2 guide lists the boss' moveset, the rewards for defeating it and our recommended strategy.
Mantagora - boss description
Mantagora is a giant, non-hostile butterfly. It flies through the sky without any destination. You have to initiate the fight yourself by shooting at it. Keep looking high up to spot it, as it rarely lowers itself.
Its weak spot is its head. Weapons such as sniper rifles and bows work well, as they don't have much damage fall-off.
Moveset
- Reinforcements - the boss occasionally summons reinforcements to draw your attention.
- Projectile - it can fire damaging exploding projectiles.
- Divebomb - it can also lower its flight and ram you, dealing damage.
How to fight Mantagora?
Mantagora tries to get away from you for most of the fight, occasionally spawning enemies and firing projectiles. It's easy to lose sight of it, given how many basic enemies there are in the area.
You should prepare before initiating the fight. Mantagora is very susceptible to damage over time, i.e. bleeding, toxins or burn. These statuses will let you deplete its health while clearing the area of reinforcements.
The boss rarely attacks, but when it does, start firing at its head. Once it's close, stop shooting and dodge or hide behind a building.
Rewards
Defeating Mantagora rewards you with:
- Momentum Mutator,
- Corrupted Lumenite Crystal (loot its corpse),
- Scrap x200.
