Gwendil The Unburnt - boss overview

Gwendil The Unburnt fights by throwing bombs at the players, which apply the Burning status. She does throws them from a safe place, hence close-quarter combat is rather impossible. Her weakness is her head, that's where you should aim to inflict more damage.

Moveset

1. Single grenade - Gwendil's main attack is throwing a single grenade at the player. After hitting the ground, it explodes and applies Burning status.
2. Salvo of grenades - every now and then the boss may turn around and throw five grenades at once. This attack has a much wider range and can apply a stronger Burning status.
3. Summoning reinforcements - from time to time, basic enemies will appear in the arena, making the fight more difficult.

How to fight Gwendil The Unburnt?

Before facing Gwendil The Unburnt, equip armor that protects against fire damage. Moreover, stocking up on consumables, such as Mud Rub, will help to extinguish the fire on your character and increase resistance to this status. If you don't have anything that protects you well against it, remember that dodging reduces the Burning bar.

Opponents appearing in the arena from time to time will attack you from a close and long distance. As for the first enemies, it's worth killing them with a melee weapon, as every shot taken will cause them to start burning. This will make them harder to defeat. In the case of those who use guns, you can shoot at them without hesitation.

Focus on Gwendil The Unburnt's head. You should also attack when you see that there are not too many reinforcements. Be on the move at all times and pay attention to the surroundings. There are black spots of oil on the arena. If fire comes into contact with them, the place will go up in flames, making movement more difficult.
