Ripsaw - boss description
Ripsaw is a tall man wielding a chainsaw. He's an Aberration - he can have different suffixes by its name which grant him unique abilities, such as teleportation.
Target the head - it's his weak spot. He often shields it with his weapon though, nullifying damage.
Moveset
- Charge - the boss charges forward, ramming his chainsaw through everything standing in his way.
- Telegraphed swing - Ripsaw raises his chainsaw and swings it at the players.
- Rev up - occasionally Ripsaw must stay still and rev up his chainsaw again.
How to fight Ripsaw?
It's crucial to stay out of the boss' way. Shoot at his head while he's running towards you and dodge when he's very close.Don't shoot the chainsaw, as it reduces damage dealt.
You can also play defensively and wait until the chainsaw stalls and he has to rev it up again. He's defensless at that point and his head is fully exposed. Don't dodge immediately when he raises his chainsaw - the swing is usually delayed by about a second.
