Fetid Corpse appears in N'Erud, specifically in Void Vessel Facility location. From this page of our Remnant 2 guide, you'll learn everything that there is to know about Fetid Corpse, starting with a short description of the boss himself and concluding with rewards you'll get to pilfer once you manage to kill him.
Fetid Corpse - boss description
Fetid Corpse is just a standard N'Erud zombie with boosted statistics. His moveset isn't that complex or deadly, but don't underestimate the opponent. This boss is an Aberration, which means it has random suffixes added to its name. These give additional skills to the boss, so every fight with this type of opponent can be slightly different.
In order to encounter this opponent, you need to find in Void Vessel Facility the area with the pods. Next, you need to interact with and enter them. This will take you to the arena with the boss.
Moveset
- Hand Attack - the boss will run towards the players to hit with one, then after a short moment, the second hand.
- Grab - Fetid Corpse may attempt to grab one of the players and deal damage to him.
- Acid Release - by firing at Fetid Corpse, there is a chance of him spurting purple acid that deals damage and applies Suppressed on the struck player which makes using abilities impossible and cancels Perks.
How to fight the Fetid Corpse boss?
Fighting one-on-one, the battle is rather easy, as the boss doesn't have anything worthwhile in his moveset, his attacks are slow, and there is a long period of inactivity before resuming attacks. However, spurting Acid and reinforcements that appear from time to time in the arena are the main problem here.
A good option is to equip a weapon mod that deals area of effect damage. Thanks to area of effect attacks, you'll quickly get rid of the main danger, which are lesser zombies. Make sure to kill minor enemies if you're running low on ammunition. Fetid Corpse may not inflict a lot of damage, but it is quite durable.
Rewards
For defeating Fetid Corpse, you will receive the following rewards:
- Transference Mutator,
- Scrap x300.
