Remnant 2 is a very successful and well received sequel, despite some issues that players are facing. The game builds on experiences from the original and takes it to another level. This time you will be tasked with launching a counterattack on the Root – an interdimensional force of darkness. While venturing through dimensions you may eventually find yourself in The Chimney. A spiral location leading you down. After completing the event in that area, you might have noticed an interesting mark on your map called “Fallen Trinket”. Getting it is not straightforward, so here you will learn how to obtain it and what’s inside.

How to get Fallen Trinket in Remnant 2

The Chimney is a huge staircase overridden by the Root. While going down, you might have noticed a purple mark on your minimap. Upon closer inspection, you will learn that it is a Fallen Trinket, but after getting to the place on the map, there is no item.

To obtain the Fallen Trinket, you have to get back up and look for a good vantage point that will allow you to locate a glowing root with a purple object caught in it. The root is rather small and not very eye-catching so it may be easily missed. Pay close attention to the area directly above the mark on the map. After you finally pinpoint it, simply shoot at it to let the trinket fall.

When the object is finally released from its captivity, all there is left to do is to go down to the location indicated on the map. Fallen Trinket will be available for you to pick up. You will learn that it’s Downward Spiral Amulet. When equipped, this item increases Fire Rate and Melee Attack Speed. Additionally, the amulet will increase your Range and Melee damage proportionally to the amount of lost health.
