Mimesis | Trophies and achievements

This section contains a detailed walkthrough for Mimesis, one of the achievements found in Prey. The trophy involves using a Morph power called Mimic Matter (shown on the screenshot above), which can be unlocked once you've used your Scope to scan at least two Mimics. The ability allows you to camouflage yourself by assuming the form of an object. In this case, your job will be to detect a hiding mimic and use him as a basis for camouflage.

If you hadn't equipped Mimic Power yet, make an attempt to follow one of the Mimics to see the action of mimicking on your own.

Once you've bought the power (the initial level will be sufficient) search the world of the game for hiding mimics. The task is easier if you've managed to acquire Mimic Detection, a Scope chipset that detects the camouflaged mimics in a manner seen on the screenshot above.

Pose as one of the mimics to score the achievement

If you've managed to find a camouflaged mimic, equip the power and target the object he is posing at. The trophy will be unlocked instantly once you've camouflaged yourself as the mimic (you don't have to kill him or perform any extra actions)
