General information
Venti is a 5-star hero of Anemo element who fights with a bow. This hero is characteristic for his high Energy Recharge, which means Elemental Burst replenishes very fast, and relying on this ability is key for this character.
He can play the role of Sub DPS whose main damage output is based on Swirl reaction, as well as Anemo Support who will control enemies with his hurricane ability. Both of these builds mostly differ only with the weapon used, but you can still play with the same bow in both cases.
Focus on getting at least 150% Energy Recharge and then improve Elemental Mastery.
Best team compositions
- Anemo Sub DPS - Ganyu / Venti / Mona / Diona
- Anemo Support - Diluc / Xingqiu / Bennet / Venti
Anemo Sub DPS / Support Build
Under this build, Venti will mainly deal damage through Swirl reaction which is created by casting his Elemental Burst. Moreover, the recommended artifact set, 4x Viridescent Venerer, will lower enemy resistance to elemental reactions.

There is only one recommended artifact set for Venti, and this is 4x Viridescent Venerer Not only it increases Anemo damage by 15% - Swirl reaction will deal 60% more damage, and the enemies' resistance to the element which was used for Swirl will be lowered by 40% for 10 seconds. This effect is very easy to recreate using Elemental Burst, as the effective range of the spell is very large and immediately causes a Swirl.
When it comes to weapons, first recommended pick is The Stringless. This is the best choice when playing as both Sub DPS and Anemo Support. Aside from additional ATK, the weapon improves Elemental Mastery, which is a very important stat for Venti. This will allow more damage dealt from reactions. Weapon skill increases Elemental Skill DMG and Elemental Burst by 24%.
The second recommended weapon is a little bit harder to obtain - we are talking about the 5-star Elegy of the End bow. With Elegy of the End, you'll receive additional Energy Recharge that scales with weapon level. Additionally, you'll receive 60 Elemental Mastery. Finally, when Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst strikes an enemy, you receive Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be applied even when the owner of the bow is not on the battlefield. After stacking 4 times, Elemental Mastery of all party members will be increased by 100 and ATK by 20% for 12 seconds.
Talents
Talents are abilities used by every character in the game. In Venti's case, you should focus on developing talents in this order:

Constellations
Venti, as a 5-star character, is already formidable on C0. However, the best constelations to have are C2 and C6. C2 increases the damage-dealing potential of Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, while C6 increases damage output of the whole team, as after Elemental Absorbions occurs, enemies' resistance to the given element will be lowered by 20%.
