Sometimes, Genshin Impact likes to test the players knowledge in events, such as Dance of Resolute Will, which require you to perform certain reactions a set number of times. How to Get Dendro Cores in Genshin Impact

Dendro Cores are an essential part of a mechanic called Bloom, which is one of the elemental reactions in Genshin Impact. Dendro Cores are created when Hydro reacts with Dendro.

It does not matter which element is applied first, so you can attack an enemy with Dendro, and then with Hydro, or the other way around, and it will generate a Dendro Core.

There can be 5 Dendro Cores on field at the same time, and they will explode after a set duration or when a new Core over the limit is created, starting from the oldest to newest. A Dendro Core that explodes will deal damage to both the enemies and your characters, so remember to bring a healer!

The Best Characters to produce Dendro Cores in Genshin Impact

While you should be able to generate Dendro Cores as long as you let Dendro react with Hydro, some characters are better than others for the task. Its best if you pick teammates that can consistently affect the enemy over time with Dendro or Hydro, so the duration to create the elemental reaction is longer and you can keep creating Cores.

Best characters for Hydro Application:

1. Nilou – the essential member of a Bloom focused team, Nilou’s passive talent causes her and teammates to create more powerful Bountiful Cores instead of regular Dendro Cores for 30 seconds after using her skill if all members of the team are of Hydro or Dendro element, and there is at least one teammate of each of these elements.

1. Furina – she is a great member to provide consistent Hydro application when using her Elemental Skill in the Ousia alignment. She can also heal the party in the Pneuma alignment, which is important as Dendro Cores also damage your characters when they burst.
2. Xingqiu – his Elemental Burst causes Hydro to be applied, and passive Hydropathic in Combination with Elemental Skill can heal the current character.
3. Kokomi – a strong healer who can also consistently apply Hydro.
4. Ayato – can quickly affect the enemies with Hydro while dealing strong DPS.

Best Characters for Dendro Application or Dendro Healing:

1. Nahida – considered the Best Dendro Enabler in game, can also buff the party.
2. Baizhu – premium Dendro Healer, shielder and support, can buff Bloom damage.
3. Yaoyao – efficient F2P alternative to Baizhu.
4. Kaveh – Dendro DPS that can buff Dendro Damage with Burst and Constellation 4.
