General information
Jean is a five-star character based on Anemo element and fighting with a sword. She is definitely a versatile hero, mixing roles of DPS and Healer, as her healing capabilities increase along with how much ATK she has. You can also build her into a classic Support, who will use his Elemental Burst often, healing and dealing a lot of damage, and reducing Elemental RES of the enemies at the same time.
For this hero, it is worth focusing on statistics such as ATK, Crit Rate, Crit DMG and Healing Bonus.

Physical DPS Build
Jeans benefits the most from increasing statistics related to physical damage. An additional benefit is that she heals by dealing damage with normal attacks.
- Artifacts - 2x Bloodstained Chivalry 2x Pale Flame / 4x Pale Flame
- Weapons - Primordial Jade Cutter / Prototype Rancour
Under the assumptions of this build, Jean has her physical damage improved, making her both a DPS and a Healer. Therefore, a good artifact set for her will be 2x Bloodstained Chivalry and 2x Pale Flame. 2-Piece Bonus from Bloodstained Chivalry and Pale Flame both results in additional 25% to physical damage. Since Jean heals her allies through both Elemental Burst and normal attacks, it is worth adding to physical damage so she fulfills her role better.
You can also equip 4x Pale Flame to get 25% more physical damage. However, instead of getting an additional 25% to physical damage, after using Elemental Skill, your ATK will increase by 9% for 7 seconds per stack (up to 2 can be applied). The second stack is added 0.3 seconds after dealing damage with Elemental Skill. Keeping it active will result in two stacks, and when that happens, your physical damage is increased by 100%.
In case of weapons, Jean under this build should have any of the two mentioned above. One possibility is Primordial Jade Cutter, a five-star weapon. In addition to increased Crit Rate, your HP is increased by 20% with this weapon equipped. Aside from the above, your ATK will be increased by 1.2% of your max HP.
The second option is Prototype Rancour, a four-star weapon. This weapon will increase your physical damage. Moreover, when an enemy is hit, your normal and charged attacks will increase your base ATK and DEF by 4% for 6 seconds. This bonus can stack up to 4 times, resulting in 16% of additional ATK and DEF.
Prototype Rancour is more easier to get, as it is crafted from easily accessible minerals. Therefore it is a good choice for F2P players, who cannot roll for rarer weapons.
Anemo Support Build
Jean also excels when she focuses only on her Elemental Burst, which not only replenishes a lot of health but also reduces Elemental RES of enemies, making other team members deal extra elemental damage (provided you equip 4x Viridescent Venerer).

One of two ideal artifact sets for Jean focusing on Elemental Burst is 4x Viridescent Venerer. Not only you will increase your Anemo damage by 15%, the Swirl effect will deal 60% more damage, and the resistance to the element which was the base for Swirl for enemies will be lowered by 40% for 10 seconds. This effect is very easy to recreate using Elemental Burst, as the effective range of the spell is very large and immediately causes a Swirl.
You can also focus on 4x Noblesse Oblige to increase Elemental Burst DMG by 20%. But most importantly, having 4 these artifacts, after using Elemental Burst, other team members will receive a buff in the form of increased ATK DMG by 20% for 12 seconds. This artifact set focuses more on supporting others in combat, additionally increasing Elemental Burst damage.
Similarly to the build that focuses on damage dealt, the best weapon option here will be Primordial Jade Cutter, a five-star sword.
Another option is Harbringer of Dawn, a three-star sword. Harbringer is a good choice for F2P who don't have luck in rolls. The weapon increases Crit DMG, moreover, when HP of the wielder is above 90%, Crit Rate increases by 14%. Since this is a weapon that you'll obtain many times, you can upgrade it to 5 Refinement to increase this chance by 28%.
Keeping Jean above 90% health is very easy, as she has 50% chance of healing by 15% of her max HP. Furthermore, her Elemental Burst usually heals her to full HP.
Talents
