Last update: 18 December 2023
On this page of our Genshin Impact guide we explain how to defeat a powerful enemy known as La Signora. She is a weekly boss, but to have the opportunity to face her, you must complete all Archon tasks from Chapter 2, Act 3.
Location of La Signora
La Signora resides in Inazuma region, on a island known as Inazuma City to be exact. Once you arrive to the location, you can find her by following the arrow. Narukami Island: Tenshukaku is her arena.
Rewards
For defeating a weekly boss, your guaranteed reward will be 300 Adventure EXP. Depending on the difficulty level you've chosen for the encounter, you may have a higher chance of looting reagents or artifacts of higher rarity. One of the possible items you can loot is Northlander Billets, which is a key ingredient for crafting higher-quality weapons.
General tips
- To be able to receive rewards for this fight, you need to spend 60 Original Resin points.
- Mitigate Sheer Cold and Blazing Heat. These are effects that fill a separate bar above your health bar. If it gets filled in full, you'll lose health over time.
- To mitigate and lower Sheer Cold and Blazing Heat, you need to stand close to Hearts of Flame or Eyes of Frost. If you want to remove the effect completely, destroy the aforementioned objects.
- If you avoid stepping on frozen or fire tiles, the bar will fill up much slower. Therefore, try as much as you can to avoid La Singora's attacks and affected tiles.
- The battle against La Signora consists of two phases. In phase one, La Signora uses Cryo attacks, so it is best to counter them by using heroes of Pyro or Electro elements. In the second phase, the boss changes to Pyro, so choose a hero of Cryo, Hydro, or Electro element.
- Signora can sometimes shield herself with Cryo element, which will protect her from your attacks. To remove this barrier, pick up Crimson Lotus Moths. Thanks to them, your attacks gain in power considerably. This will make it easier to break through the shield.
How to beat?
At the preparation stage, you should equip heroes that handle fire and ice well. Best to choose heroes of different elements, such as Hydro, Cryo, Pyro and Electro.
In the first phase, try to attack her with Electro or Pyro - this will inflict a lot of damage on her. When it comes to the boss's attacks, watch out for ice projectiles. You can easily recognize when the boss attempts to fire them. Keep in mind that projectiles that touch the floor will make it frozen, and stepping on frozen ground will fill up your Sheer Cold bar which is marked with a yellow arrow on the attached screenshot.
If the bar is dangerously close to filling up completely, approach any Heart of Flame (found in every corner of the arena). Standing next to one of them will bring the bar back to a safe level. If the situation is critical, destroy the object to quickly neutralize Sheer Cold completely.
When you significantly lower La Signora's health, she will use Cryo to shield herself. Her movements while the shield is on will create trails of frost on the ground. Attack the cocoon with Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst to create Crimson Lotus Moths. Pick the moths, then approach the shielded La Signora and attack her. Repeat this step several times.
When La Signora's barrier is destroyed, a short cut-scene will ensue. With the start of phase 2, the boss receives new moves, appearance, and changes her element to Pyro. La Mulana in second phase is definitely more aggressive, moreover her attacks are now of Pyro element. Fight her with Cryo, Hydro, and Electro.
When it comes to the receiving end, watch out for projectiles she fires at you. Having touched the floor, they will light it on fire, making it molten. Standing in fiery area will hurt your hero, and the Blazing Heat bar will start to accumulate.
As in the first phase, to lower Blazing Heat, stand close to Eyes of Frost, a similar object to the aforementioned one, but this time it is blue.
Getting in melee range with her may make a lot of her attacks miss. However, this is not easy, as often the floor next to her is on fire, which will fill up the bar. Try to approach her from a side that isn't affected by Pyro.
When La Singora's health drops to dangerous levels, she will summon a fiery hurricane. This attack will bring fire to almost the entire arena. Avoid her projectiles and smaller hurricanes while staying away from fiery floor. If you don't, the Blazing Heat bar will fill up very quickly, and to lower it, you'll need to approach an Eyes of Frost or destroy one.
When the hurricane attack ends, finish La Signora, preferably from a safe distance as the whole arena will be in flames. If you don't have a hero with a bow or ranged attacks, wait for the fiery ground to disappear, unless you have a lot of health left and low Blazing Heat. If that is the case, you can take a chance thus quickly end the battle.
