Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. The gameplay can be turn-based or in real time (RTS). Specific types of strategy games are economic games and so called ‘tycoons’.

We play as a Dungeon Lord who, after uniting the forces of evil and laying the foundations of the new empire of darkness, comes to the conclusion that his ambitions are not yet fulfilled. He decides to recruit the priestess of dark elves so that she would lead his forces during the conquest of the surface world.
Warcraft II: The Dark Saga

Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 contains several episodes, dedicated to: France, Germany, Russia, and England.

This time the title was developed by Danish studio Full Control, responsible for the new version of classic game Space Hulk. In terms of the plot, we are dealing here with a kind of prequel. According to the subtitle of the game, its action takes place before the events known from the first part of the series.
War for the Overworld

War for the Overworld is a humorous fantasy RTS and a spiritual successor to the 1997 Dungeon Keeper. It is the first game developed by the indie studio Subterranean Games. In War for the Overworld, we play as a demonic Underlord whose task is to turn his underground kingdom into a true empire of evil. Emperor Stockington and his forces will try to stop us. We will have to gradually expand our dungeons and train the monsters that dwell there.
