Console version of Warcraft II real-time strategy: Tides of Darkness, including tasks from Beyond the Dark Portal. The production allows the player to lead the forces of people or orcs in a bloody war of domination over the land of Azeroth. User tasks include building a base, collecting raw materials, developing an army and destroying enemy forces.

Warcraft II: The Dark Saga is a console port of Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. Besides the content found in the original game, it also offers missions from the expansion called Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal. Warcraft II: The Dark Saga, released on PS1 in 1997, also introduces a number of improvements to the gameplay which appeared later in Battle.net Edition for PC.

Plot

Warcraft II: The Dark Saga, released on PS1, continues the story of a bloody war between humans and orcs over the fantastical land called Azeroth. Six years after the great victory of the human race, the Horde mobilizes its forces and once again carries out an attack on the territory belonging to the Alliance.
