Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed is the fourth installment in the Kingdom series of unusual strategy games originating from 2015. It was developed by Fury Studios and published by Raw Fury.

Plot

In contrast to previous installments of the series, which all took place in medieval-inspired worlds, Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed is set in the alternate 1980s, in a town threatened by deadly monsters created by a mysterious force called Greed. A group of brave kids, who we must lead, decides to step up and confront the threat.

Mechanics

Similarly to the previous installments, the action of Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed is shown from the side. Players traverse the world (this time not on horseback but on a bike) and gather resources, preparing defenses to guard the town from Greed and its creatures.

Technical aspects

Just like the rest of the series, Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed makes use of pixel art. The atmospheric soundtrack is composed of synthwave music.
