Wumpa-Burner Engaged! | Crash Bandicoot 2 Trophy Guide Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Guide

This page contains a detailed description of unlocking the bronze trophy called "Wumpa-Burner Engaged" in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back for PlayStation 4. This trophy is awarded for collecting 27 Relics, two of which must be at least Gold.
This is probably the most difficult trophy available in the game. Relics are acquired by completing time challenges in 25 main levels and 2 hidden ones (Totally Bear and Totally Fly). Boss fights, in turn, don't count.
Very important - Before you start attempting to unlock this trophy (and other ones connected to Relics), defeat doctor Neo Cortex, who is the final boss of the game. Victory is rewarded with the Speed Shoes visible in the picture above. They let you run faster by holding R2. Having them is a must if you want to get great time scores.
A time challenge can be started after you've completed a given level for the first time. When you restart it, touch the clock that is located near the starting place. Time challenges force you to complete the route flawlessly, without stopping and dying on your way. Moreover, while sprinting, you have to look out for yellow crates that stop the timer for a moment when destroyed. Attention - during races against time, you can ignore the "ordinary" crates you come across. The same goes for secrets and enemies - eliminate only those that cannot be quickly avoided.
Completing every time challenge is rewarded with one of three Relics - the Sapphire (the worst), Gold (intermediate), or Platinum (the best). To unlock the said trophy, you can't have any sapphire time - you have to have at least two gold results.
