Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah! | Crash Bandicoot 3 Trophy Guide Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Guide
Last update: 21 August 2017
This page provides information on how to unlock "Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah!" Gold trophy in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped for PlayStation 4. You receive this trophy for obtaining 30 relics, where at least three of them are Gold.
Arguably, this is the most difficult trophy in the game. You obtain relics by completing time trials in 25 main stages, the additional three in the basement (Ski Crazed, Area 51? and Rings of Power) and two secret ones (Hot Coco and Eggipus Rex). Boss fights do not count here.
An important note - Wait to obtain this trophy (and other ones connected with relics), up until you defeat Neo Cortex (the final boss of the game). For winning the fight with Cortex, you will receive Speed Shoes shown in the above screenshot. They allow you to run faster after you hold down R2. It is necessary to have them, if you want to obtain better results.
You can play a time trials right after you have played a given stage for the first time. After you restart it, touch the watch close to the starting point. In time trials, you, first of all, have to speed through the stage perfectly, from start to end, without dying. Additionally, while sprinting, keep an eye out for yellow crates that will stop time temporarily, after they are smashed.
Note - During time trials, you can ignore the regular crates. The same goes for collectibles and opponents (eliminate only those that you cannot pass by)
After you complete a time trial, you will receive one of the possible relics - sapphire (the weakest), gold or platinum (the best). To obtain this trophy, you cannot receive a single sapphire relic. They have to be, at least, gold.
