Bye Bye Blimps | Crash Bandicoot 3 | Levels Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Guide

Collectibles:
- Clear Gem - Smash all 11 crates.
Description:
This is a quite laid back stage, where Coco mans a blimp. During the stage, you can find crates and lay fire on other flying machines, where the most important thing is to shoot down enemy blimps.
Default controls for flying machines are not too intuitive and therefore, it is a good idea to access game options and change vertical controls (shown in the above screenshot). By default, the plane moves in the direction you select on D-pad. Inverting that will result in more intuitive controls. Of course, this is only the question of individual preferences and with time, you can get used to any type of controls.
Apart from the left analog stick (or D-Pad), you also control the plane with R2 (firing unlimited ammo), X (roll - you can use it to escape enemy fire) and Circle (air brake - of limited usefulness).
During this stage, you are free to do whatever you please, because there is no single path to follow. Also, you are free to choose the order, in which you want to perform certain actions. First, you should locate all 11 crates that are suspended from balloons. Two of the balloons are marked with a cross (shown in the above screenshot) and crates suspended from them allow you to replenish your health shown in the bottom-left corner of the screen. You can leave, at least, one of them for later and use it whenever necessary.
The primary objective of this mission is to shoot down seven blimps (you can do that in any order). You will be obstructed by enemy planes. There is no point in wasting time on destroying them, because the ones you shoot down are soon replaced with new ones. Focus on the blimps and remember that you can regenerate your health, if there is still a balloon marked with cross floating around. destroying all the blimps ends this mission and you receive a violet crystal.
