1. Read the loading screen advice. That's the best way of learning unique information, unavailable during the tutorial.
2. The beginners should start with Imperial or Chaos fleets - their units are the most versatile.
3. Remember - you don't have to win every mission to achieve ultimate victory.
4. You cannot save during a game - save your game after each mission in the campaign.
5. In the skirmish mode, there's no way to repeat a game - after you create an admiral, each battle is automatically saved, regardless of its outcome.
6. You are allowed to replay campaign missions. Do that if you want to get a better score.
7. Each time you load a game, objects such as gas clouds and asteroids are randomized. Even if you replay the same mission.
8. You cannot change the difficulty settings during the campaign, so make a wise choice when you create an admiral.
9. The beginners should go either for easy or normal difficulty.
10. When assembling your fleet at the initial stages of the game, try to utilize all the tonnage you have - you'll have an easier time playing, before you get to know the real potential of your units.
11. Your admiral is at level one at the beginning of every game mode, so you won't have access to the biggest ships and weapons.
12. Always pay attention to your side in a game. As the attacker, you'll face a bigger risk of running into traps set by the enemy.
13. Remember that if you want to play with an ally, you have to split the tonnage between each other.
