Warframe - Trading Warframe Guide & Walkthrough
Last update: 04 April 2018
In this section you will learn how trading works in Warframe, how to trade and obtain buyers. There are two ways of selling items in Warframe.
Selling in the transmitter
Selling through the transmitter is based on simple principle. You can place up to 5 items on your "booth". The players will see above your head what you are selling and they can interact with you. By default to open a booth you must press Q key.
Using chat
This is the best way to trade. There is a special chat channel in Warframe dedicated for trading. The principle is simple - when you want to buy an item, you type WTB [item name]. WTB means Want to Buy. WTS [item name] means that you want to sell an item (WTS - Want to Sell). Using the brackets [] is mandatory - they enable you to link to an item so that everyone can see what it is. Most players to trade with can be found on English server. Trading chat is very popular, you shouldn't have trouble with selling anything. After placing an offer on the trading chat other players can write private messages to you. This is the point where you can agree with players on the final price. Once the deal is ready, usually one of the sides invites the other to party and goes to Dojo Clan where the trading can be done at the proper clan building. Of course, you don't have to create offers on the chat - you can simply check other offers and write private messages to traders. Use nexus-stats.com to see the average prices of items.
