Corrupted Vor | Bosses | Warframe Warframe Guide & Walkthrough
Last update: 24 May 2018
This short chapter is devoted entirely to the Corrupted Vor - an Orokin field-boss in Warframe. Here you can learn his location, the loot you can acquire from him, and how to defeat him.
Corrupted Vor is a boss of the Orokin Void, which can be encountered in the high level (Tier 4) Void missions. The boss will announce his presence by first sending you a transmission.
Fighting this boss is much easier than his previous version on Mercury. He does not have the skill that allows him to shield himself with a barrier. The boss still has a lot of health points, solid armour, and shields. Depending on the mission type, Corrupted may begin appearing to assist the boss. His only weak point is a spinning "object" that connects his upper and lower body. He has a tendency to constantly teleport. He can inflict permanent electrical damage and use the Orokin key to deal damage in a specific area (AOE).
It is recommended that you have the best possible set of weapons and the correct Warframe to fight this boss. Magnetic, viral and corrosive damage will be perfect for this particular encounter. Select the boss (by default, by using the G key) to see exactly where he has teleported at any given time. When playing against him solo, try to lead him to a deserted location, the fight will then become much simpler (his drones will not be able to restore his shields, although this strategy does not work during the Defense and Mobile Defense missions). The Mesa Warframe is a very good choice, as it will automatically aim at the weak point during the duration of the fourth skill. Ash, together with its own fourth skill, will also manage.
Sometimes, it may happen that in addition to the Vor, a Stalker will appear and you will have to deal with both of them simultaneously.
There is a 50% chance of the boss appearing in the first minute of the mission, 75% after the 3rd minute, 100% in the 8th minute. For Defense missions the count begins together with the start of the defense, for Mobile Defense - after inserting the datamass into the first terminal, Capture - when you capture the target, Survival - at any given moment, Interception - when a radio tower is taken over, Exterminate - after 20 enemies are killed.
As a reward for defeating the boss, you can receive some of the following dual-stat mods: Malignant Force, Virulent Scourge, Pistol Pestilence, Toxic Barrage.
