Syndicates are organizations that appear in Warframe. You can unlock them after reaching the third mastery level or after initiation on a transmitter. Each organization offers different mods, syndanes, weapons, and regalia. Amassing reputation points leads to better titles and rewards. Considering that the syndicates have different standing with each other, it is recommended to choose 3 organizations at a maximum (screenshot - 3 on the left or 3 on the right). Choosing syndicates from both sides may lead to a conflict of interest - increasing reputation with one organization can lead to a loss of reputation with the other one. Amassing reputation happens in three ways: by completing missions deputed out by the syndicate (3 missions per day, restarted daily), finding and selling medallions (the medallions can be sold for reputation - they do not count towards the daily reputation limit), as well as wearing the right regalia on your Warframe.

You can ascend to a higher rank in the organization after amassing a certain amount of reputation points. The ascension takes place after giving an "offering" in form of credits and a required item (each syndicate wants different items). There is also a possibility of deducting reputation points (by completing the missions deputed by the hated rival). After reaching a certain amount of negative reputation, syndicates can send Death Squads that will be tasked with killing you. Such events can occur randomly during missions - an incoming death squad is signalized by flashing light and a message from a syndicate leader. Negative range 1 will lead to a Syndicate sending a squad of 8 Eximus units (upgraded and tougher opponents), while negative range 2 will lead to the Syndicate sending an Eximus platoon that has more units than the squad on rank 1. Moreover, a Platoon has much more health points and is resistant to some of the control abilities.
