This page of the Sherlock Holmes Chapter One game guide contains the walkthrough of the For the Birds story. You will get this mission from Jon, who will be very curious about what happened to the bird from the cage.
Introduction
- How to unlock: inspect the empty cage in Miner's End.
- Reward: 15 coins.
- Trophy: none.
Cage
In the eastern part of Miner's End, near the apiary, there is a statue that will grab any man's attention. The cage is empty, and Jon and Sherlock will wonder what happened to its contents.
Questioning
After examining the cage, you need to ask for more information. First, dress up in work clothes to blend in with the crowd. If you wear a suit or some "funny" costume, you won't get any clues.
After changing your clothes, it's time to head between the buildings and approach the person standing at the big wooden door. This is the only character that will give you information. The others will have a negative attitude towards you.
Eavesdropping
There's a bar in the middle of Miner's End. Right in front of it are two men you can eavesdrop on to get information.
The following is the correct information:
- Poverty in Miner's End,
- Lost his family,
- theft Canary (Stole the Canary),
- Thrown into the sea.
Once you've eavesdropped on the men, you'll have all the information you need, and the mission will be completed.
