Deduction
After getting all the information from the workshop and from the excavations, enter your mind palace and connect the facts. You need to connect:
- Everyone blames Goliath;
- It was mating season.
The next connection is:
- Theodore threatened Paul;
- Theodore attacked Paul.
Let's go further. Time to connect the hole in the shed:
- Damage to the shed;
- Paul has a fresh bruise.
Another connection concerns Goliath:
- Mr. Gilden owned a wild animal;
- Fatal battering.
There are three correct evidence connections left:
- Trying times;
- The partnership ended.
The second to last good combination is:
- Bosun's knife;
- Damage to the shed.
And the last possible connection is:
- Damage to the shed;
- Arthur has fresh bruises on his elbow.
Chemical analysis
After deductions, you need to examine the perfume that was in the dead man's room. The connection depends on your difficulty level. We showed a possible one in the screenshot above.
Items needed to call the elephant
After analyzing everything thoroughly, start searching for parts needed to create a large inflatable elephant. Start by going to the excavation site to remove the contents of the box that you previously examined.
Then go to the workshop, get the red fog horn, which you will need to make noise.
Next, go to the woman you might remember from a police case - The Master of Disguise. She will give you the next part of the set.
Return to the residence at the end. In the destroyed shed there is a device that will allow you to inflate the large elephant, which will summon the lost animal.
Calling the elephant
When you create the giant inflatable elephant, you will take it to the bridge. Jon will hold the balloon, while Sherlock will make noises. You must use all available sounds to make the elephant appear.
The happy elephant will come to the new companion, and Sherlock and the services will lead it to the run.
Watching the elephant
Once the elephant is in its safe place, you need to look at it. Pay attention to:
- the head wound,
- the dart behind the ear,
- the eyes,
- the tusk.
Chemical analysis
It's time to find out what the substance was in the dart they put in the animal. The connection depends on your difficulty level. We showed a possible one in the screenshot above.
Deduction
Eventually you have to connect:
- Poisoned dart;
- Both Arthur and Paul own darts.
There are three possible solutions to this.
Arthur Swift killed Theodore. In that case, you can:
- arrest the man and free the elephant;
- let the man go, and sentence the elephant to death.
Paul killed Theodore. In that case, you can:
- arrest the man and free the elephant;
- let the woman go, and sentence the elephant to death.
Goliath killed Theodore. In that case, you can:
- save the elephant
- sentence the elephant to death.
Regardless of the whom you choose as guilty, you can save the elephant and get the Animal Advocate trophy.
Whatever choice you make, you will end this mission by announcing your judgment to the dead man's daughter.
Trunk
After solving the whole case, look at the trunk on the stone bench. The items inside will direct you once again to the mission called A Mother's Love.
