Resident Evil 7: Who's Your Daddy Now? - Trophy/Achievement Guide
Last update: 03 September 2020
Requirement: Complete the game on highest (Madhouse) difficulty.
Comment: Madhouse difficulty level becomes available once you complete the game (on Easy or Normal). It's much harder than the other two. Here's what you must be ready for:
- You don't have unlimited saves on this difficulty setting. You must be looking for cassette tapes and each tape can be used only once. Obviously this will force you to complete bigger parts of the game before you can save your progress. Be very thorough to find all the tapes along the way and use the knowledge from previous playthroughs to prepare better for confrontations with the games bosses.
- Enemies and bosses are much stronger. They deal more damage and are more resistant so you must use the tactics from the previous playthroughs to defeat them without losing too much health and without sacrificing too much ammunition.
- There are less supplies to be found in the game. This means you must avoid all optional confrontations. If you encounter an enemy in a tight space try running past him or go the other way around.
- New Antique Coins can be found on the Madhouse settings. They're not only new collectibles, but they can be used to purchase new items. This makes them very valuable, because purchased objects may help you to stay alive.
- Enemies spawn in different locations (this doesn't apply to "fixed" boss fights). Don't expect to encounter them in the same places as in the previous playthroughs.
