The map of the main house contains areas of the west and east wing, main hall, first floor and basement. Places connected to the story, important objects, secrets and useful items (such as, for instance, ammunition and meds) are all marked on the map. Not all of the locations are available from the beginning: you start in the west wing and proceed (after the fight with Jack) to the main hall. You then have to go to the first floor (where, at the beginning, some of the locations are inaccessible) and to the basement. Only then you will be able to enter the yard. Two rooms on the first floor, the attic and the workshop are available only after you've cleared the Old House and the Greenhouse locations.
Below you can find secrets, their locations and how to get them.
Files
4. Home Improvement Store Receipt
Sticky notes on the wall of the dining room.
After the first cut-scene ends, approach the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room - there will be multiple sticky notes on the wall and one of them can be read.
5. Newspaper Article - Missing People
Newspapers lying on the table.
Go to the neighboring room - living room. You can find newspapers lying on the table located in the middle of the room.
6. Newspaper Article - Over 20 Missing
Another newspaper lying in the hall, near the pendulum clock.
7. Jack's Journal
The journal can be found inside of the recreation room, located on the first floor - it's lying near the TV, on the lower shelf.
8. Jack's Memo
A note in the recreation room.
The memo can be found in the corner of the room in which it (the room) connects with the grandmother's room (north-eastern corner).
9. and 10. Travis' Memo
A two-sided memo can be found inside a drawer in the hiding place in front of the stairs leading to the basement. It's an open drawer, located right next to the save game point.
11. Incinerator Room Memo
This memo can be found in the Incinerator Room - it's lying near the closet.
12. Memo About Relief
This memo can be found inside of the grandmother's room (available after collecting the scorpion key from the basement).
13. Doctor's Letter
The letter is also located in the grandmother's room (available after collecting the scorpion key from the basement), but inside a drawer near the bed.
Antique coins
2.
The coin lying on the lawn mower.
During the first stage, right after the family dinner when you will be running away from Jack towards the trapdoor, you will see a red lawn mower there - the coin is lying on top of it.
3.
The coin can be found in the Main Hall, to the left of the phone located near the exit doors. The coin will be lying inside a drawer.
4.
Recreation room on the first floor. The coin can be easily seen in the corner of the room, in which the room connects with the grandmother's room. The coin will be lying on the table.
5.
There's a bathroom located on the first floor. Go there to find a wooden statuette. Check the toilet as well - there's a coin hidden there.
6.
Head through the hidden passage located behind the projector and enter parlor. Go to the next room - there will be an ash tray lying on top of a table in the middle of the room, with a coin inside of it.
7.
The last coin in this area can be found in the basement. Enter the room with the scorpion key and look for the coin hidden in a hole, next to a wooden pallet based on the wall.
Mr. Everywhere Statuettes
1.
The first statuette can be found in the safe house located in the laundry. The statuette is lying below the tape recorder used to save the game.
2.
The statuette is lying at the end of the corridor, in the first part of the building, beyond the door leading to the main hall, among the junk on the lower shelf.
3.
An easy to spot statuette in the main hall.
Enter the main hall and turn left - there will be a table standing right next to the entrance, with a statuette lying on top of it.
4.
Go to the recreation room located on the first floor. The statuette, together with a file and a coin, can be found in the corner of the room. The statuette will be lying inside the basket on the table.
5.
You can find a Mr Everywhere statuette near the door.
There will be a door with a raven hanging on it in the recreation room. You can't go through it at the moment, but to the right of it, inside a small window, there will be the statuette you're looking for.
6.
In the basement, behind the room where you've found the scorpion key, you'll find stairs. At the top of it you will find closed doors (you need the snake key to open them). The statuette is located to the right of them, lying on the floor.
