In the Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour (Teaser) guide you can find the walkthrough for the demo which has a story independent from the main game. This guide is based on "Midnight Version" of this game. In this guide the bolded text is used for important things/places, green text - for objects that you can pick up.

A few things that you must know when you start the game:

• The only real danger for the player is the monster in the basement;
• The locations always have the same construction, the objects are found in the same places with small exceptions - some of the elements in the game, such as the mannequins or the ghost of the girl that appears on the stairs are random;
• The demo has three endings with the optional interactions and an additional ending that unlocks a secret;
• The walkthrough is divided by the endings, because some actions, that you make at certain stages, prevent you from getting different endings;
• The game has no save / autosave option.
