How to solve the puzzle with the chemical dispenser in NEST of Resident Evil 2?

The laboratory next to the garden in the Nest (the final area of Resident Evil 2) contains a special device in its left corner. Place the previously found container inside. Your task is to fill the vial with the right amount of liquid, marked with a red bar. To do so:

1. Pour the whole liquid to the tallest vial.
2. Pour the contents to the medium vial.
3. Pour the contents of the medium vial to the smallest vial.
4. Pour the contents of the smallest vial to the tallest vial.

Take notice of the fact that during the Second Run, the amount of fluid required is different! (the amount appearing during the Second Run appears in the screenshot above)

1. Pour the contents of the tallest vial.
2. Pour it to the smallest vial.
3. Pour the contents of the smallest vial to the medium one.
4. Once again, pour the contents of the tallest vial to the smallest one.
5. Pour the contents of the medium vial to the smallest vial.
6. Pour the contents of the smallest vial to the medium one.
7. Pour the contents of the average vial to the tallest one, leaving some of the liquid in the smallest vial.
