How to open the police car's trunk in the parking garage in Resident Evil 2? Resident Evil 2 Guide and Walkthrough

One of the police cars in the underground parking garage has a trunk that can be opened. This is one of the secrets in Resident Evil 2. Go east, to the firing range. Find a yellow box on the table. Examine it in your inventory and open. Inside, you will find a car remote. Go to the parking garage.

Open the inventory and go to the inspection mode - there is a button at the back of the remote. Press the button to open the trunk (the lights inside the police car will start blinking). Inside, you will find:

1. Claire: JMB Hp3 pistol (uses the same type of ammo as the revolver);
2. Leon: Matilda grip (improves weapon stability, but the pistol will take up 2 slots in the inventory).
