Barricading windows is one of the activities available in the game Resident Evil 2. It allows you to prevent zombies from invading the examined locations. In this section of the guide, we inform you how to barricade the window and when to use this option.

As you explore some of the locations in the game Resident Evil 2 you may notice zombies standing by the windows and trying to smash the shutters to get inside. You can theoretically ignore this, but if it is a corridor through which you have to go more than once, the appearance of a new zombie in it can make it difficult for you to survive or force you to use more ammunition.

Wooden Boards are used to barricade windows - you can find them as you go through the game.

In order to barricade a window, you must approach it, press the interaction button and select the boards from the list of items you own. Try to barricade only those shutters that are in important places and near zombies. It's not enough for you to barricade all the windows you find.
