Trophy guide and achievements in Metro Last Light Metro: LL Guide
Last update: 13 February 2019
The trophy guide for Metro: Last Light and the enhanced version of Metro: Last Light Redux will help you to unlock all achievements. Each trophy has been described in terms of the requirements that have to be fulfilled to unlocked them. Each description has also been broadened by our comments and tips on how to unlock them the easiest way.
Metro Last Light General Information
- The number of achievements varies between different platforms. The original version of Metro: Last Light was released on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation3 and offered 70 trophies to unlock plus one platinum trophy on PS3. Among these achievements, 20 were introduced by different DLCs
- The enhanced version of the game titled Metro: Last Light Redux includes only selected trophies from the DLCs. You can unlock 50 achievements on PC and Xbox One and 51 trophies on PlayStation 4 (one of them being a platinum trophy).
- You have to complete the Redux version at least twice in order to unlock the platinum trophy. The original version also has achievements related to the difficulty levels, however, they do not affect the platinum trophy.
- With each playthrough choose different difficulty levels and try to unlock different endings (the game has two - a good and a bad one). This will allow you to complete the story campaign no more than twice.
- You can replay already completed levels. This is extremely helpful if e.g. you missed a collectible or a chance to complete an activity required to unlock a trophy.
Main trophy list (PC, PS4, XONE)
Platinum Trophy
Trophy type: platinum
How to unlock: Unlock all other trophies.
Comment: this trophy can be unlocked only if you are playing on PS3 or PS4.
Air!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Use 30 minutes' worth of filters.
Comment: This trophy should be unlocked automatically during the first campaign playthrough. The filters can be installed in the gas masks. The protagonist needs to use them when exploring infected areas and each time he decides to emerge to the surface. Make sure to use the filters and take your time in the infected zones (provided you have enough filters). New filters can be found as part of loot (e.g. on the corpses or in lockers as shown in the exemplary screenshot) and purchased from vendors.
Antibiotic
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Kill 100 mutants.
Comment: Neither humans nor the smallest mutated creatures are not taken into account for this trophy. To unlock it, you have to kill only the "main mutants" that pose a direct threat to the protagonist. You should be able to unlock this trophy during your first story campaign walkthrough.
Back to the Past
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Watch all visions in the Dead City.
Comment: Dead City is the 26th chapter in Metro: Last Light. In order to unlock this trophy, you have to find and watch seven visions. The full list can be found in the Dead City Visions section of this walkthrough (an exemplary vision can be seen in the screenshot).
Big Momma

C'est la vie
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Destroy D6.
Comment: Destroying the D6 station is the "evil ending" of the game. We have described it thoroughly in the Endings section of this walkthrough guide. There, among others, you can find a list of actions that bring the protagonist closer to unlocking one of the two main endings. During your playthrough try to ignore actions leading to the "good ending" and complete only those bringing you closer to the evil one. The ending you experience is always a result of the decisions you make throughout the entire game.
{ramkaczerwona}This trophy and the Redemption achievement are mutually exclusive (saving D6 station is a good ending). In order to unlock both trophies, you have to complete the game twice. With each playthrough, you have to remember about the actions connected to a given ending.{/ramkaczerwona}
Clean Escape

How to unlock: Escape the fascists chasing you without getting caught even once (Chapter 4 - REICH).
Comment: The detailed description of the fourth chapter titled REICH can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough guide. The chase begins after Pawel fires a weapon. Commando
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Save women and children without triggering the alarm (chapter 13 - BANDITS).
Comment: The detailed description of Chapter 13 titled Bandits can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough guide. Make sure to check the Use the railcar to break through the spike trap.
This trophy regards one of the last parts of the mission, namely the bandit hideout that you explore upon reaching the entrance by the tracks shown in the screenshot. It is from that moment that you need to sneak and eliminate enemies stealthily or just go past them.
Sneak past the last room to complete the QTE sequence and give yourself a chance to save the civilians (screenshot above). Should you trigger the alarm, they will all be killed.
Derailed
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Kill all armed enemies together with their reinforcements (Chapter 11 - Revolution).

A more detailed description of this encounter can be found in a separate section of this walkthrough guide.
