Murdering Sean Rose | Colorado Hitman Guide

Sean Rose is one of four main targets that you need to eliminate. You can use one of three available Opportunities to do that, although it is not necessary. The most efficient ways to eliminate Rose were described below:

• Detonating Sean Rose's watch (Doomsday Watch opportunity)
• Killing Sean Rose in an explosion (Overpowered opportunity)
• Make Sean Rose take hallucinogenic drugs (Unclean opportunity)
• Kill Sean Rose with a bale of hay
• Kill Sean Rose with a chandelier

Detonating Sean Rose's watch (Doomsday Watch opportunity)

The blueprint is in a small building

You can learn about this Opportunity by finding Rose's watch blueprint. The item is located in one of the small buildings in the central part of the farm (M7.3) and the building can be empty or you may encounter a single soldier inside.

Make sure that you were not spotted by the hackers

Once you have the blueprint, head towards the main building (M7.27). As you need to enter the building, make sure that you have the right disguise (Elite Militia or hacker). Reach the first floor and investigate the room on the left (one with a damaged wall) (M7.28). There is a Hacker's Phone but wait till you are alone before collecting it.

The explosive Watch Battery is located on the desk by the lamp

Reach Sean Rose's Room. It's located on the same floor (M7.31). You can get there by opening the door of the office (M7.29) or through the toilet (M7.30), however, you need a lockpick, a crowbar or Sean Rose's Room key (it's on the ground floor - (M7.14)). An alternative way would require to use the balcony and travel through the roof to an open shutter

Once inside, locate the Explosive Watch Battery and collect it.

Now you have to switch batteries in Rose's watch - you want to insert the explosive one. Head to one of the small building in the central part of the farm (M7.33). Wait for Sean Rose to appear. Don't attack him but rather wait for him to put down his watch (see screenshot). Make sure that no one is watching and only then insert the explosive battery (before Rose washes his hands).

Sean and Maya can die in the same explosion.

Move away from the watch and wait for Sean to put it on again. Select the hacker's phone. If you want you can send an e-mail to Rose's smartwatch right away but it's better to wait till he gets to the large barn (M7.19) and meets with Maya Parvati. This way you can kill two birds with one stone.

Killing Sean Rose in an explosion (Overpowered opportunity)

Turn off the generator and collect nitroglycerin from the suitcase as soon as the guard moves away from it

You can start planning the assassination by collecting nitroglycerin invoice, located by the main house (M7.14), however, it is not necessary. It is more important to gather the very nitroglycerin. It's best to reach the stash in the orchard (M7.10). Bottles of Nitroglycerin are in a large suitcase, protected by a single guard. Instead of attacking him, turn off the nearby generator and collect the items as soon as he walks away.

Remember - Nitroglycerin can be found in Berg's small garage (M7.15) and Rose's room (M7.31).

You can sneak up one of the specialists by the baler

Once you have the bottles, head to the explosives test zone, located in the east part of the farm (M7.14). Only explosives specialist can enter this area. You can try to sneak inside in a different disguise but it's easier to obtain the right one. Reach the baler in the east (M7.15) and turn on the radio. This will lure one of the specialists. Eliminate him, take his clothes and hide his body inside the baler.

Regardless of the disguise you decided to use, reach the tent in the west (see screenshot) (M7.2). There is a specialist who can recognize Agent 47 even if he is wearing the right disguise, so be careful. Don't try to kill this character as he is essential to this Opportunity. Instead, turn of the nearby generator, and as soon as the specialist moves away from his position, add some nitroglycerin to the explosive gel.

Wait for Rose to take part in the new experiment

Now all you have to do is to wait for Sean Rose to arrive and take part in the test. In the meantime, the previously mentioned specialist will take the charge to its destination (M7.1). You can blend in by placing yourself behind the camera. Sean Rose will die in the explosion (thanks to nitroglycerin).

Make Sean Rose take hallucinogenic drugs (Unclean opportunity)

Attack your opponents one by one and hide their bodies in containers.

This Opportunity is based on the fact that Sean suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). You can find out about his illness by finding Penelope Graves' Private Diary in the greenhouse in the orchard (M7.12). However, this is optional.

Your first task is to get hallucinogenic drugs, located in a small garage near the main house (M7.15). Unfortunately, this location is protected by two members of Elite Militia. In order to get rid of them, wait for them to finish their conversation, make sure that no one is watching and attack one of the soldiers. Damage the fuse box to make the other soldier leave the hut. Once you hide the bodies, make sure that Ezra Berg is not coming towards the garage (comes here every couple of minutes) and investigate it to collect hallucinogenic drugs.

It's wise to put on an Elite Militia disguise right away as you will be entering the area near the main house. Get to its back and locate cigarettes presented in the screenshot (M7.23). Add drugs but make sure that no one is watching you first.

The clock is on the ground floor

The next step is to interact with two out of three objects in the main house. The first one is the Grandfather's clock in the main room (M7.26). Before you change the time, make sure that the soldier from the upper floor is not watching you.

Interact with the objects on the desk

You can investigate Rose's room (M7.29). The door to the office is locked but you can use the lockpick, the crowbar, the key (it's on the ground floor (M7.14)) or use the roof and enter via open shutter. Change the order of items on the desk. Remember - there may be a guard in the office and he will recognize you even if you use a good disguise. Attack him and quickly hide his body, or wait for him to leave the room.

You can turn off the valve in the bathroom

The last location is the bathroom on the upper floor (M7.31). It's locked so use the lockpick, crowbar or the key. Turn off the valve (see screenshot).

Sean Rose needs to take the drug

You can stay inside the house and or follow Sean and observe the course of action (first, he will notice that something is wrong with the Grandfather's clock) or get back to the place where you added drugs to a pack of cigarettes (M7.23). Sean will eventually come here and have a cigarette.

It's best to drown your target in the bath

If you leave hallucinogenic drugs in the pack of cigarettes, Sean Rose will panic and run towards the nearby hut (M7.24). Follow him and make the best of the fact that you are alone. You can shoot or strangle Sean but you may also want to drown him in the bath. Throw his body outside the window and hide it in a container located by the hut.

Kill Sean Rose with a bale of hay

The winch is located on the upper floor of the barn and it's good to take care of the nearby opponents first

Bale of hay is hanging above the main entrance to the barn (M7.19). Use the stairs or climb the roof of the garage and reach the upper floor of the barn (M7.23). There are two opponents in the area and it's wise to take care of them first, as they can prevent you from eliminating your target (your identity will be revealed if they look towards you when operating the winch). The winch is located on the upper floor (M7.18). Wait for Sean Rose to stand right under the bale of hay. Just keep in mind that it takes a while to release the bale of hay, so plan your move carefully. In fact, it's good to save your game before you actually try to kill Sean.

Remember - you can use the same method to assassinate Maya Parvati.

Kill Sean Rose with a chandelier

Hit the chain that holds the chandelier

Chandelier is attached to the ceiling of the main building (M7.27). When you reach the upper floor you should eliminate nearby soldiers. Once the area is clear, wait for Sean Rose to enter the house and stand under the chandelier (he will be looking at Grandfather's Clock). Shoot the chain attached to the chandelier

Remember - you can use the same method to assassinate Penelope Graves.
