Important items | Bangkok Hitman Guide
Last update: 16 January 2017
For some actions Agent 47 is going to need specific items, which are scattered all over the Himmapan hotel complex. Look especially closely to the ones that are essential for going through with a killing opportunity. The list below (this one is shorter than the one for the Marrakesh mission) features the most important items, which every hitman should know about when planning an assassination.
- Fire Axe
- Insecticide
- Note From The Manager
- Master Keycard
- Tools
- Cake Topping
- Lethal Poison Vial
- Exterminator's Schedule
- Katana
Fire Axe
A fire axe is designed to save lives, but in some hands it can take it as well. There are several of those in the Himmapan hotel. They have a big weakness, though - their cannot go unnoticed. Since this is a forbidden item, carrying it around usually results in triggering an alarm. Killing Ken Morgan with a fire axe (M6,1) unlocks the "Burying The Hatcher" challenge.
Insecticide
The insecticide is required for going through with one of Jordan Cross killing opportunities. Note that picking it up when you are not disguised as an exterminator can raise suspicions of the hotel personnel. You can find it inside the BUG SWAT van (M6,7).
Note From The Manager
Notes from the manager are placed in many places throughout the hotel - this is how Mrs. Mookjai contacts her employees and gives them instructions. Many of them contain some specific information how things work in the Himmapan hotel, or reveal hints at possible ways of killing your targets. The notes that you can find in the hotel are: On Queen's Suit Emergency (M6,8), On the Occupant of Room 205 (M6,9), On the Occupant of Room 207 (M6,10), On Roof Repairs (M6,11), On Penthouse Safe (M6,12), and On Emperor's Suit (M6,13).
Master Keycard
The master keycard (M6,14) works similarly to the Headmaster's School Key found in Marrakech - the difference is that this one opens every door in the hotel. This is especially helpful for snooping around guestrooms. A master keycard can be found in the laundry - next to the groundskeeper with a wrench. It is also carried by the hotel manager, Mrs. Mookjai.
Tools
Tools are especially useful for Ken Morgan killing opportunity that involves tuk-tuk. First though, you must get the necessary tools - a wrench and a screwdriver. The former can be found next to the groundskeeper fixing the sink in the laundry (M6,15), inside the linen room (look in the groundskeeper's toolbox between the shelves), or behind the toilet in the restroom next to the hotel staff changing room. As for the screwdriver, it lies on a shelf in the corridor on level 0 (M6,16).
Cake Topping
Thomas Cross ordered a special cake for his son - it's supposed to be vegan and have a unique topping (M6,17). That's fine with us. The topping is also an item required for one of Jordan Cross killing opportunities.
Lethal Poison Vial
Although it's not clear why, but there is a vial full of lethal poison in one of the room's bathrooms on level 2 (in The Class's wing) (M6,2). You can add the poison to Jordan Cross' cake or the treats which Ken Morgan nibbles on in the restaurant. Remember though, to be disguised as a waiter or kitchen staff while poisoning food - otherwise, you will be exposed.
Exterminator's Schedule
An exterminator's schedule (M6,18) is in the hotel manager's office - you can get inside through a window on the left from the main hotel entrance. Be careful - a bar waitress and a cleaner often chat over there.
Katana
This list wouldn't be complete without the katana (M6,3). True, it is totally non-practical - just like an axe it cannot be hid, plus it is found in a room surrounded by a lot of guards. However, it can be used for eliminating Dexy Barat.
