Disguises
During The Showstopper mission in Paris, Agent 47 will have access to a plethora of disguises, which are listed later in the chapter. The best disguises are the unique ones belonging to the sheikh or Helmut Kruger. By donning this attire you will be able to move around almost without limits - the only exceptions are the places with the highest level of security, such as the arbor in the garden, or the attic on the 3rd floor.
The Tuxedo Disguise is the one suggested by the game to start the mission with. While having this clothes on, you will be able to travel to parts of the palace that are reserved to the fashion show guests. If you want to get to the upper floors, you will have to show your invitation to the secret auction and let the guards search you.
A Palace Staff Disguise can be acquired, for instance, from the small building located in the north, right at the very beginning of the mission (point M3,3 on the map shows its location). There's one of the staff members located inside - you can subdue him easily and hide the body inside a container located in the back of the building. Another good spot from which you can get the said disguise are the northern gardens (point M3,5 on the map). You can stumble upon a lone staff member there, who can be easily taken out. If you don't want to attack anyone in order to get the disguise, you can acquire it from one of the trailers located on the parking lot, in the southern section of the map (point M3,4 on the map), as well as from the locker-room on the ground floor (point M3,6 on the map). Members of the staff can move around freely on levels 0 and 1, but they are forbidden from accessing any upper floor.
A Security Guard Disguise can be acquired by reaching the small building located on the north (point M3,3 on the map). Use coins or any other throwing object to force the guard to check the source of noises - afterwards, subdue him and hide his body in a container. An even better place to acquire the guard outfit from is a small building located in the southern section of the gardens (point M3,12 on the map). The security guard is standing near the window of the building - pull him inside, subdue and hide the body in a container. This disguise isn't very useful, as it won't give you access to the upper floors.
The CICADA Bodyguard Disguise can be easily acquired by reaching a small building located in the northern section of the map (point M3,7 on the map). The route next to this building is patrolled by two guards. Attack and subdue one of them, throw the body into the building and hide it inside a container. If you want to, you can also attack one of the guards from the upper floors, such as the one accompanying the sheikh (point M3,7 on the map), or one of the guards patrolling the attic of the building (point M3,31 on the map). By using this disguise you will be able to travel around the whole map, but Agent 47 can be easily recognized by both Novikov and some of the guards themselves.
A Stage Crew Disguise can be acquired by going to the southern section of palace gardens (point M3,13 on the map) and locating a person leaning over a railing, wearing a cap and a t-shirt with the Crew sign on it. Wait for the guards patrolling the area to move somewhere else, subdue the stage worker and carry his body to the northern container. Another way to acquire the outfit is to go to the event service area (point M3,14 on the map). You must find the generator, sabotage it, wait for one of the crew workers to come and fix it and subdue him. Yet another source of outfit requires you to reach one of the palace rooms - the one with the cabinets inside (point M3,23 on the map). You can wait for the crew member there, neutralize him and hide the body in the large container. Stage Crew workers can get up to the second floor of the palace.
A Stylist Disguise can be acquired by reaching the event service area, located in the southern section of the map (point M3,14 on the map). Look for a person standing away from the rest, subdue him, and hide the body. An even better way is to simply locate the unused outfit. It can be found lying on one of the tables in the changing room (point M3,14 on the map), but make sure that no one is looking at Agent 47 while you are changing. This outfit isn't very useful, as you won't be given access to upper floors, not to mention the fact that Agent 47 can easily be detected by other people of this profession, as well as members of the stage crew.
A Chef Disguise can be acquired by reaching the kitchen located on the 0th level of the palace (point M3,15 on the map). You should attack the lone chef located in the northern corridor. Afterwards, hide the body of the unfortunate man in the container. Chefs have similar privileges to the members of the crew. The only merit of this outfit is the fact that you won't meet another chef outside of kitchen, in the other parts of the palace, meaning that you won't be discovered by passing people.
An Auction Staff Disguise can be easily acquired by reaching the 2nd level of the palace, in the western room with a single person inside of it (point M3,27 on the map), as well as in the northern room where you can make a ruckus with the piano (point M3,28 on the map). Regardless of the circumstances, make sure that you aren't seen when subduing a worker and to hide the body afterwards. This outfit will allow you to reach both the 2nd and 3rd levels of the palace (after letting the guards search you). However, you won't be able to access the Dalia's private quarters, as well as the attic on the 3rd floor.
The vampire magician outfit disguise can be found in the north-eastern section of the attic, on the 3rd level of the palace (point M3,12 on the map). It serves a humorous purpose only and won't give you any edge during this mission.
The Sheikh Disguise is one of the unique ones during this mission. The sheikh can be found in a luxurious apartment on the second floor of the palace (point M3,7 on the map). You must get there before the sheikh leaves for the auction - if that happens, you won't reach him as he will stay on the 3rd floor. You can access his apartment with the use of a security guard outfit, or by opening the door with a lockpick, or with a crowbar. You can subdue the sheikh and his bodyguard in a traditional way (by approaching them from behind and strangling them), or by pouring poison to the sheikh's drink. After a short while the man rush to the toilet because of the poisoning.
Helmut Kruger's Disguise is another unique one which can be acquired. Helmut can normally be found on the back of the palace (point M3,12 on the map), where he will be either participating in the photo session, or walking around the gardens. Try to attack him when he is alone and hide his body in a container. If you aren't quick enough, Helmut will take part in the fashion show, after which he will meet with Dalia in her private quarters on the third floor. However, he will be back in the palace gardens later in the mission.
Important items
Note - the following list does not contain common items, such as wrenches and screwdrivers. Those can be found on the run without much effort.
A Camera Lens can be found in the open broadcasting truck, located on the northern parking lot (point M3,15 on the map). This item can be given to the blogger (point M3,5 on the map) planning to interview Novikov. Its purpose is to murder Victor during the interview (with the help of a remote explosive, or by shooting the man from a large distance).
Emetic Rat Poison can be acquired in multiple locations on the map (point M3,3 on the map), such as the catering staff room on the first floor (where you can acquire a few pieces of it). The poison can be used in a multitude of ways, to poison Novikov in the bar by pouring it into his favorite drink (point M3,4 on the map), to poison Dalia on the third floor of the palace (point M3,18 on the map), or to poison Novikov's bodyguard in the catering staff room (point M3,14 on the map).
An unused Palace Staff Disguise can be found in two places - in one of the trailers located on the southern parking lot (point M3,4 on the map), and in the locker-room on the 0th level of the palace (point M3,6 on the map). In the latter case you must avoid contact with other people in the locker-room.
A Palace Master Key can be found in a small room in the palace's basement, or to be more specific, on the 0th level (point M3,5 on the map). You should acquire it in the early stages of the mission, as it will allow you to open the doors of the palace without the need of a lockpick. Note - this key won't give you access to the Sheikh's room on the second floor!
An IAGO Invitation can be a very valuable finding, as it will allow you to reach the secret auction without the need of an "advanced" outfit. It can be found in one of the toilets, in the northern section of the first level of the palace (point M3,8 on the map).
A Fireworks Remote Detonator can be found in the central part of the building's second floor, near some of the event crew members (point M3,10 on the map). After acquiring the detonator, you will be able to start the fireworks show (either right at that moment, or according to the plan, at the end of the fashion show) and use it to divert the attention of both guests and the staff. This will make killing one of your targets (or both of them) a lot easier. Note - reaching the detonator location equals to capturing the face of the Agent 47 on one of the cameras. If you want to get rid of any trace of your activity, you must delete the recordings in the monitor room on the 0th floor (point M3,17 on the map).
A Laptop Dongle is one of the most difficult objects to locate. It can be found on the attic of the building, in a place with a large number of monitors used to track the course of the secret auction (point M3,13 on the map). After acquiring the pendrive you can go to Dalia Margolis' office (point M3,11 on the map) and use it to sabotage her notebook. It will force her to go to her office, allowing you to take her out in a private place.
A remote explosive can be found in the same part of the attic as the Laptop Dongle described above (point M3,9 on the map). It can be used to eliminate one of the targets of this mission - you just have to place it wherever you want to and detonate it after moving to a safe distance. Optionally, you can booby trap the camera of the blogger located on the first floor (point M3,5 on the map) and detonate it during the interview with Novikov.
A Cocktail Recipe can be acquired in one of the corridors on the 0th floor, near the kitchen (point M3,3 on the map). Acquiring this item is required to eliminate Novikov by poisoning him, because you need it in order to prepare his favorite drink at the bar, located on the first floor of the palace (point M3,4 on the map). Don't forget to pour the poison into it afterwards!
