Before you start exploring locations as part of side quests and additional activities, check out our descriptions of the maps in Diablo Immortal. Here you can read about the rules of the locations, why you cannot start side quests or find items related to achievements.
Exploration achievements
You will receive Hilts for completing quests related to Exploration achievements. You can check their list and completion status in the Codex. It is an additional element of the game, when you get bored of leveling up and repeating the same activities.
Zone Events
Zone Events are special periodic quests that are available after reaching level 60. In each location, you will encounter a special task that will activate after taking appropriate actions (eliminating monsters, collecting items), or according to the calendar - for example, the Tax Collector at the Ashworld Cemetery. In the map description, you will find information on events typical for a given zone.
Hidden Lairs
Hidden Lairs are a form of Dungeon that guarantees Gems and can be found in every location. However, they come in different forms and you should know what to look for. The map description includes screenshots showing the dungeon entrances in each location. In addition, random events (generated randomly upon entering a lair) encountered in lairs are also often associated with Exploration achievements.
Side quests
Side quests become active only when you switch to the Hell 1 difficulty level, i.e. after reaching level 60 with your character. As you approach the quest giver, you'll see a triple exclamation mark indicating that he has a quest for you. They are short and can reward you with chests with valuables (including Enchanted Dust).
- The list of all tasks is visible after hovering over their icon in the codex - Exploration achievements. Completed tasks are also indicated.
- You can do the side quests many times.
- A quest is not always available. If someone else has just undertaken it or it has been done recently, you can meet the quest giver, but you won't get the quest. Then just wait or come in a few minutes.
Elite monsters
You will find at least one special elite monster in almost every location that is related to the Exploration achievements. The problem with defeating is that only one person can fight it - so everyone who wants to complete the task must complete it individually, but also initiate the fight themselves. Monsters respawn after approximately 10 minutes.
