Battleground in Diablo Immortal is an arena for battles between players divided into two teams. Here you can earn Daily Rewards and those related to your ranking. On this page, you will find out when the matches take place, how to join them, and what prizes and rules apply to them.
How to take part in a match?
Battleground is a place where you can take part in team matches between players. The matches take place at specific hours:
- 8:00 - 10:00
- 12:00 - 14:00
- 18:00 - 20:00
- 22:00 - 0:00
During this time, you can enter the game by searching for a match, but only if you are at least level 46. Registration is handled by a man in the northeast of Westmarch.
What are the Battleground's rules?
In the Battleground, players use their skills and equipment, but the buffs are slightly weakened to provide a balance between players. You go to the attacking or defending team, and the match is divided into 3 stages:
- The attacking team must destroy three crystals,
- Then they have to defend the statues so that at least one of them reaches the other side of the arena,
- Finally, they must destroy the heart in the enemy base.
Each stage, if passed, cannot be undone. Attackers have a limited time to complete their tasks. Defenders - in addition to hampering the attackers' objectives - can also win before the time runs out - if they kill a total of 55 attackers.
You cannot resurrect allies during a match - each of them will be resurrected after a while in the base, where there is a portal to the arena. You can heal without any limitations: instead of potions, you have a Bandage that (outside of combat) regenerates about 80% of Health (hold the heal button). Its cooldown is 20 seconds.
Battleground rewards
Each player is encouraged to participate in them through 3 daily rewards for participation (regardless of match result). You can get gold, experience (large amounts), items, and salvage. The rewards and form may change with each week and season.
During the season, you will also earn points for matches you won. For losses - you will lose a few points. Thanks to the points, you will advance in the ranking and receive the following rewards:
- 5x Aspirant's Key,
- Glowing Shard
- Additional seasonal reward.
