The game Avatar Frontiers of Pandora allows you to freely change the difficulty level. On this page of the guide, we tell you what features the difficulty level of battles and quest help have, as well as what other facilities are available to lower the difficulty level.

While playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora you may want to make the gameplay easier or adjust it to your preferences. This guide page describes all difficulty levels and their settings (Combat Challenge, Quest Guidance). You will also learn how to change the difficulty level, as well as other mini-game improvements and how to enable aim assist.

Combat Challenge and Quest Guidance

1. You can choose the difficulty level when starting a new game. There are 3 combat difficulty levels.
2. The levels differ in the amount of damage received and dealt. On higher settings, your character can die more easily and must shoot more to deplete enemy health bars.

1. The second setting is assistance during quests. A similar system has already been used before, in games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
2. The default suggested setting is Guided. It shows your destination on the map. Additionally, the game can direct you to the mission objective after activating the Na'vi senses - these will be blue orbs or pillars of light.
3. The alternative is the Exploration setting. You have to rely on text hints and find locations related to quests on your own. In the example from the picture, the hero found out that the hideout is at the top of the waterfall, but the game will not mark it for you on the map. Choosing this option may slow down your progress.

How to change the difficulty level?

1. Difficulty settings are not permanent and you can change them freely after starting the actual campaign.
2. You need to go to the Gameplay tab in the options. At the top of the list, you will find the most important difficulty level settings. Instead of choosing 1 of 3 the pre-made levels, you can also create your own (e.g. just reduction of received damage).

Other gameplay facilitation options

There are also other options available that can lower the difficulty for selected game elements:

1. Memory Painting - the game allows you to facilitate this activity in various ways. Instead of performing gestures, you can press buttons or automatically pass the mini-game.
2. Gathering Complexity - this option concerns collecting plants. You can facilitate this activity by reducing the required precision or automatically passing the mini-game (but you won't get bonuses for gathering).
3. Aim Assist - you will find it in the Controls tab. Avatar is a FPP game in which you often have to perform, for example, precise ranged attacks. This can be problematic when playing on a controller. You can adjust the settings, e.g. the strength of the aim assist or locking onto opponents.
