Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is a game offering both a single and multi-player modes. On this page of the guide, we explain how the co-op works in the game, what its assumptions are and how to access it.
How to unlock co-op?
Co-op is not available from the very beginning of the game, but unlocking it is not a big challenge. You will unlock it automatically when you complete one of the early story missions, namely Clan Aranahe.
Co-op rules
Co-op in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is meant for two-player online only. So you won't be able to play locally on a split screen, or with more than one person. You will also not encounter competitive modes. Once you unlock co-op, you can complete almost all main missions in the game and all side missions with another player.
A cooperative session takes place in the world of one of the players, the host. The second player is a guest.
Is progress maintained?
Once a co-op session ends, all host's world progress is saved, so you don't have to repeat anything solo. The guest, on the other hand, keeps everything they acquired during a session, including equipment, items and collectibles.
Is there cross-platform co-op?
Co-op does support cross-platform gameplay. Regardless of the platform – PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or Amazon Luna – players can play together in cooperation.
