Stealth is one of the ways to explore restricted areas. It allows you to avoid detection and minimize the risk of death. To enter this mode, press the corresponding button on the keyboard or controller.

Once you're in a restricted area, a moment of distraction could end up in your character being detected by Albion officers. Therefore, you need to look around to locate the nearby opponents and observe their paths. Also pay attention to the location of nearby covers. This way you can plan your way out of their sight.

In addition, you must also be careful of alarms. When you enter their area of operation, you will automatically be detected. Their areas of operation are marked in red.

You have to keep in mind that without electronics you can't plan your way to your destination in advance because you won't be able to see all the guards at once. In buildings, you may encounter them in side corridors, and in multi-level locations, they patrol the stairwell area. Such opponents are easy to run into by complete coincidence.

And if there is no cover in the area, you will most certainly be detected. So keep an eye out for cameras that you can hack. With them, you will be able to safely study your situation.

Of course, you can influence the opponents themselves by hacking their equipment. You'll distract them by e.g. texting them. It'll give you a moment to sneak past them safely. This is especially useful when the guard is standing still and blocking your way.

A more drastic option is to paralyze the opponent (if the character has the appropriate ability). In this case, however, the vigilance of the guards increases and they leave their typical paths. Therefore, this option is useful only when you are noticed. It will allow you to stun the enemy for a while and minimize the risk of triggering an alarm in the facility.

If you enter the opponent's field of view, a special indicator will appear on the screen, showing the direction from which you are visible and the level of interest. It can come in two colors. In the first phase it is white. If at this moment you manage to hide, then the enemy will stay on his path.

When the indicator changes color to red, it means that you have caught the attention of the guard and he will turn in your direction. Then you need to watch him closely and react to his movements on an ongoing basis. If the indicator fills completely, you will be detected and an alarm will be triggered.
