While building DedSec's power, you will want to invest in characters that have the biggest impact on your team. You need characters with perks that will greatly affect your actions. Below is a list of the most important perks that you should pay attention to.

1. Bail Out – You should start with looking for a character with the Bail Out perk. This character will help with releasing a member of the team from custody. You are taken into custody when you are defeated by enemy units, and you surrender yourself without risking losing that character. A character with such a perk reduces the time spend by that team member in custody. Such a person can be considered as a passive character – you don't even need to play as them. They just need to be on the team to passively reduce the time spent in custody.
2. Triage – Your character can also go to the hospital after receiving serious injuries. In this case, you will need a character with the Triage perk. It works similarly to Bail Out, with the difference that it reduces your team member's time in the hospital. This character should also be treated as a passive one.
3. Physical Fit and weapon with silencer – This character will be treated as the most crucial when entering restricted areas. Physical Fit reduces the damage received, and a weapon with a silencer is necessary for eliminating opponents from a distance without alerting others to your location. It would be good if the character also had a vehicle to escape from the scene in case of problems.
4. Characters with uniforms – Characters are usually distinguished by a special uniform. Such characters are for example builders, police officers, hospital workers, etc. Their main task is to enter the restricted areas. Thanks to their uniforms, they can enter such zones without triggering an alarm. However, a person wearing such a uniform may be detected if they get too close to hostiles or perform a suspicious activity.
