Reporting for Duty - DedSec Missions

On this page of the guide to Watch Dogs Legion, you will learn how to pass the mission Reporting for Duty. This is another mission from the chapter DedSec Missions. This is one of the longer missions, in which you will find yourself many times in restricted objects and recruit one new agent.

The next task you will have to investigate the Ministry of Civic Management. This facility is closely guarded by enemies and drones. If you want to go in there, you better take over the nearby cameras, arm the traps, and turn off the alarms. Once you've done that, you can go inside as a character, or complete the task with the spider robot.

On the left side, there is a terminal, approach it, having turned off the security lasers first. Then go to the panel that is located deeper into the building and interact with it.

Then go to a nearby ctOS box and get the data. Once you've done that, get out of the restricted area. Your next assignment will be to recruit a new agent who's wearing a builder's uniform. Choose the one that suits you best, each of them will have a transport drone that you will need further, so it does not matter who you choose.

After talking to the builder in question, you will begin the recruitment mission. In the case of recruiting a man, you must go to Camden Market and deal with opponents to get the blackmail materials. This facility is restricted, so beware of enemies.

It is worth to hack the cameras and arm most of the traps to neutralize the threat. Once you've done that, go inside. Defeat the opponents, then go to the top floor and unlock the door using the terminal.

Then go down and go to the laptop, which is located behind a closed door. Get the data while you're near it. When you have finished downloading, escape from the restricted object. You'll be able to recruit a new agent with a builder's uniform. Then meet again with the person you recruited. A cutscene will start.

After completing the cutscene, go to the designated location as the character you just recruited. When you get there, call the transport drone. Get on it and take control of it. Then fly up to the indicated point on the map.

Do not get off the drone, just fly to the indicated location, then connect the indicated server to the drone (fly up, then drop down to touch the server with the drone's base). Once you've done that, fly your drone to a new location again.

Then, once you're there, lower your altitude and land on the ground near the truck. A cutscene will start. Then drive to the indicated location and download the AR data. Then go to the next location and re-download the data at the indicated location on the map.

By downloading the data, enemies will be on the left. Lift the curtain to hide from enemy fire, equip traps and eliminate advancing enemies. You have to hold on until the data download is complete.

When the download is complete, you will have a few seconds to get away from the truck. Escape from there so that the explosion does not kill your character. When the truck explodes, go back to your hideout and talk to Sabine. A short cutscene will start, after which you will complete the task.
