Watch Dogs Legion: Restricted zones - what are they? Watch Dogs Legion Guide, Walkthrough
Last update: 29 October 2020
On this page of the Watch Dogs Legion guide, you will find information about what restricted areas are and what to do in them.
What is a restricted area?
The restricted areas are strategic to Albion. They are marked red on the minimap. This is a heavily guarded area closed to anyone from the outside. As soon as you enter such an area (it is often associated with completing a mission) and you are noticed, the alarm goes off. A chase will also begin, which will not be ceased after leaving the zone. You must lose your pursuit by running through the streets of the city.
What to do in such a zone?
When you find yourself in such a place, you need to be careful not to be seen (you can also hack local surveillance cameras) to determine the optimal path to your destination. Also, use distraction mechanics to bypass guards you wouldn't normally be able to avoid.
When you enter the field of view of an opponent, the detection indicator appears. It informs you of the level of interest and the direction from which you are seen. Then you have a moment to find a hiding place and avoid combat. If you don't, you're gonna have to fight. In this case, it is worth using traps, deployed on the territory of such an object. You must also hurry because reinforcements may be called in.
You can also enter the zone with the intention of eliminating everyone the hard way. Then it is good to quietly eliminate patrolling soldiers located in isolated places and arm the traps, before the right attack.
