Psyker class in Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr Guide
Last update: 15 June 2018
The Psyker in contrast to the other classes featured in Inquisitor- Martyr uses mental powers instead of physical strength, which on the one hand is great while dealing with demons, but on the other hand, might summon more of them.
This character class has the following perks and traits:
Perils of the Warp
Every time the Psyker uses their psychic powers they influence the Warp. This causes the accumulation of Warp Heat. Exceeding a certain amount of Warp Heat points causes Warp anomalies, which can be used to your advantage. On the other hand, this may also summon additional demons onto the battlefield, which can make things harder. Because of this, this strategy should be employed very carefully or as a last resort.
Psychic Powers
The basic trait of the Psyker, which makes them different from all the other characters, is the fact that they are using psychic powers for combat purposes. These special skills are mainly based on the power of the elements. They are great when dealing with weaker enemies. They also allow the players to afflict enemies with special effects. Although, while dealing with armored enemies, they make combat more difficult.
Force Weapons
Special equipment dedicated for Psykers, which lets them amplify their Empyrean powers. Thanks to Force Weapons, Psykers can gather psychic power.
The Psyker class is very different from the two other available options. Their psychic powers allow them to unleash a devastating attack upon their enemies. On the other hand, their attacks influence the Warp, which in consequence may lead to additional enemies spawning on the battlefield. This can be especially dangerous during an encounter, which is already difficult, even without these unwelcomed guests.
