Damage in Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr Guide

Last update: 21 June 2018

In Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr, you can deal several types of damage, including physical, psychic, toxic and heat damage. What type of damage is dealt depends on the type of weapon and the class of your character.

Information about the power of your Inquisitor can be found in the equipment menu. In it you will find not only the items you own and wear, but also the total number of attack points accumulated from the gear worn by your character.

Of course, each type of enemy is vulnerable to different types of damage - Damage in Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr - Combat guide - Warhammer Inquisitor - Martyr Game Guide

Of course, each type of enemy is vulnerable to different types of damage. Rebels are vulnerable to toxic and physical damage, Chaos Cultists are weak against physical and psychic attacks. A major difficulty in this matter is the fact that the Inquisitor is unable to deal all types of damage at the same time. An example of this is warp damage, which can only be inflicted by a Psyker. In addition, you can't change your weapons during combat. This means that if you choose the wrong weapons, you will have to stick with them till the end of the mission. However, this can be avoided. Simply check the mission panel to learn about potential enemies, who can be encountered. Based on that information, you will be able to choose your equipment wisely.

The enemy's vulnerability to an attack is also determined by whether they have armor or not. In the case of unarmored enemies, the entire attack power translates directly into reduction of enemy health points. On the other hand, in the case of armored opponents and Chaos Machines, the reduction ratio is proportionally lower. Part of the attack force will be absorbed by the armor, while the rest will affect the health points. But if you succeed in destroying the armor, the attack will inflict the same damage as if the enemy were unarmored.
