The main storyline of Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr is accompanied by investigations. Their aim is to solve the puzzles connected with the plot. Each part of the story has a number of investigations to be solved. In exchange for any completed investigation you will be rewarded with an appropriate number of ranking points.

Of course, simply following the story missions won't be enough to solve an investigation case. To do this, you need to find the right clues that will allow your Inquisitor to combine all the threads of the case. Cogitators are an important source of clues. They can be described as a kind of diaries, from which you can obtain a lot of valuable information.

The bodies of the fallen are also important. They often carry their diaries or recorded video footage with them. These are things that the Inquisitor can also include in his evidence.

You can keep track of the progress of the investigation in the "Investigations" tab. Inside you will find information about current investigations and those that are already closed [1]. By clicking on individual investigations you can find out how the investigation proceeds [2] and how much more evidence is needed to complete it. Additionally, this tab will include information about the number of evidence found in a given chapter in relation to the total number of evidence found [3].
