Smuggler's passage
Received from: Tobias The Trunk [Bayan] (M3:4) or Dagwa [Bayan] (M3:5)
Dagwa
If after teleporting to Bayan you helped Dagwa (shared some sausage with her), then after returning from the gate (talking with Odval (M3:1), accepting [Desertgate]) you can talk with her again. She will tell you about an old smugglers' passage and shot the place on the map (M3:8). After finishing this mission, [Desertgate] will also end automatically.
NOTICE: You will meet a few demanding enemies on the path.
Tobias The Trunk
Once you get waylaid by Tobias (after talking with Odval (M3:1) and accepting [Desertgate]), he will offer you information (for only 300 auras) about an old smugglers' passage, which you can use to go round the gate.
NOTICE: Tobias The Trunk is a fraud. Once you give his the 300 auras, the man will go to his house and lock the door.
In case you accept this mission you will meet him once again in the tunnels beneath Cheznaddar [Hatmandor Sewers] (M21:13). If during [Old wounds] you've killed Scythe, you'll receive [Desecrated Shrine].
You will unlock [Desecrated Shrine].
Scribe's Inkwell
Received from: Tom Scribe [Bayan] (M3:7)
You will receive this task only if you've talked with Lewsam the gravedigger (M3:6) and accepted [Lost head].
You will then receive the information (password) on how you should talk to the scribe. To get the pass, you have to find the inkwell with red ink at the site of ruin. The scribe's burnt house will be marked on the map, head there [Savannah - northern part] (M7:1). There you will come across baboons - look out, as they attack from a distance. Go inside the burnt house and search the chests. Once you find the inkwell, return to Bayan. The scribe can be found in his house. By the door you will meet Flora - his ex-wife.
Ending 1
You can give Flora the inkwell and in return you will learn about an old smugglers' passage (M3:8).
NOTICE: There are a few demanding enemies along the path. At the beginning you will have to fight varns and afterwards wild animals.
Ending 2
You can refuse Flora, enter the house and give the inkwell to the scribe. You will receive a pass, thanks to which you will be able to pass through the gate and finish [Desertgate].
